I was delighted to be awarded the GAP AWARD from ARTIST TRUST in 2023 for my work as a writer and artist exploring meaning and transformation in grief and mourning.
Below are snapshots of some works in process.

Art & Embodiment Projects // in development
Nested sets of contemplation & reflection, guided inquiry & creative prompt, artwork & embodied resonance practices. A spiral of inner and outer activities on grief tending, aliveness and more.
Sample from my grant proposal. Learning to lean into the grant writing process as an individual artist was wild, freeing, and humbling. I feel so honored to be selected for this expression of my human process through grief, creativity and spiritual inquiry.
Zine/Chapbook Series
Death Haiku is a short series of haiku written during and after the death of my mom, Kathleen in late 2020. My hope is to publish this set of Haiku (nearly finished with the layout) along with other writing I created during this time. I want to share this work with a broader audience as part of my desire to destigmatize grief in general and specifically conversation around and experiences of illness, death and dying.
