We court the muse We court the muse We court the muse Don’t be afraid to be ahead of the curve Listen to yourself Take it one step at a time Cultivating patience humility and belonging are synergistic energies You set the pace Listen for openings Relax Let others support you too Give when the urge arises, then release and go on going on Your fear of others is a well of grief inside that deserves love and tenderness, respect this process of learning Feel it, heal it, honor it, keep living while you do this Find mentors and allies that lift you up Examine your negative behaviors, obstacles and dark impulses as a compassionate caretaker, tending each thing as it arises Be thoughtful with your words Release what’s needing releasing, go slow like the river in winter, it will melt on its own with spring and summer will bring full healing to the surface, a celebration  a new moon 🌑 lunar new year in the wood dragon 🐉 this morning waking up 12 years ago in the year of the water dragon i couldn’t walk without the world seeming to slip upside down or sideways, or drive a car without the road suddenly dropping out from underneath, lights and sounds felt like battlegrounds, so instead i laid on couches and stared at trees walked in forests like a new planet forming my years of laying down, my years of walking upside down, my years of dropping everything led me here, to my year of being enough. a full bodied, rooted tree freshly arising from all this duff. 🐉 🌑  |
